Friendly Reminders :)

Just a quick reminder to please send the yellow conference time slip back with your child, if you have not already done so, to help us in the planning of our fall conferences. We will try to accommodate time requests as best as we possibly can. 

In other news...

We are very excited to be working on so many new skills in our class. Today we used the Woodstock Independent to help us identify different types of words. It was a lot of fun getting to see so many interesting articles and pictures!

Writing Assignments

In class we have been working really hard and are learning about the writing process. Your child may bring home their writing to finish going through this process for homework. Our first writing assignment is due tomorrow. We revise our writing using a checklist and then edit our writing using highlighters. Both of the tools are included in this post below and will be in the extra copies page for future reference. Please do not correct all of the errors in you child's writing. They are learning how to use the internet and our class word wall to help them do it independently. The link for our class word wall can be found in the literacy page.
