New & Exciting Events in 2nd Grade Dual - English

We are very excited to have officially earned out LearnPad licenses!!! The kids and I have been learning about digital citizenship and how to work and troubleshoot the LearnPads all on our own. We have been using the LearnPads to learn new things for almost two weeks now! After the students were able to demonstrate mastery of LearnPad Citizenship they received a license to use their LearnPad. However, we have also talked about how, like real driver's licenses, their license can be revoked if they choose to make unsafe decisions with their LearnPad.
Most recently, we have begun using our LearnPads to practice our spelling words through the use of the website https://www.spellingcity.com/missjacobson/. Please use this link to have your child practice their words at home. Also, just a friendly reminder to send a pair of headphones or earbuds to school with your child if you are able to. We only have a few community pairs of headphones which get taken up quickly.
